These Terms of Use govern your use of the Policy Compass website at policycompass.co.uk (the "Website"), operated by Meet George Limited ("Meet George", "we", "us", "our") - registered in England and Wales under company number 15747538, registered office 18 Albert Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH1 1BZ. By using the Website you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use it.
The Website is intended for business and professional users aged 18 or over. It is not directed at consumers or children. If you use the Website on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.
The Website provides information about Policy Compass. Access to and use of the Policy Compass platform (the "Service"), including any trial, is governed by a separate Cloud Service Agreement and Data Processing Agreement entered into between us and the customer organisation. Nothing on the Website is an offer capable of acceptance or a binding contract for the Service, and pricing shown is indicative.
You agree to use the Website lawfully and not to misuse it. In particular, you will not attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, disrupt or interfere with it, scrape or harvest it at scale, reverse engineer it, or use it to break the law or infringe anyone else's rights.
The Website and its content - including text, design, illustrations and logos - are owned by or licensed to Meet George Limited and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view and share the content for your own informational use; you may not copy, reproduce or reuse it for commercial purposes without our permission.
Policy Compass is an AI-assisted research tool. Information on the Website, and outputs produced by the Service, are provided for general information and to accelerate research. They are not legal, regulatory, compliance, financial or other professional advice, can contain errors, and must be verified against authoritative sources and reviewed by a suitably qualified professional before you rely or act on them. Using the Service for decision-making in a regulated capacity requires appropriate human oversight, as set out in the Cloud Service Agreement.
The Website links to third-party websites (such as Ofgem, DESNZ and industry code bodies) for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or availability.
We aim to keep the Website available and accurate, but we provide it "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time.
We are not liable for any failure or delay in making the Website available that is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including hosting or other third-party service outages, network failures, and acts of government or regulators.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website or from reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Liability in connection with the paid Service is governed by the Cloud Service Agreement.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when they last changed; your continued use of the Website means you accept the current version.
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your use of the Website. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. We may assign or transfer these terms to a successor (for example, on a sale of the business); you may not assign them without our consent. A person who is not a party to these terms has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce them.
These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
